“No More Ways to Verify” on Google Business Profile: How to Get Live Video Verification
Updated 9 October 2026
What do you do when Google Business Profile says “no more ways to verify”?
The message means Google has withdrawn every self-serve verification method for that profile, usually after a failed or rejected attempt. Waiting does not reset it. Open Google’s Verification Status tool, follow it to the end and use its Contact us link to reach verification support; owners and Product Experts report that this is where you can ask for a live video call. Before that call, fix the profile details and prepare what the camera must show.
“No more ways to verify” is a screen message, not Google policy text. For verification in general, see our verification help guide. Google decides every verification; nobody can promise one.
Why does Google show “no more ways to verify”?
It is a message in the Business Profile interface; Google has no Help Center article that uses the phrase. Owners in the Help Community report it after a verification attempt fails or is rejected, and some saw it after a single rejected video.
It is not a suspension. The profile still exists, but it is unverified, so you cannot manage it and customers may not see it.
The usual causes:
- An address type Google does not accept, such as a virtual office, a P.O. box or a mailbox store.
- A profile name, address or phone that does not match the business’s own signage and documents.
- A verification video that did not show the location, the business and that you manage it.
- Several profiles for the same business, so Google cannot tell which one is real.
Does waiting two weeks reset the options?
Google documents no reset period. Owners in the Help Community report the screen staying for weeks or months with nothing changing.
Creating a fresh profile to get new options usually makes it worse. The new listing is a duplicate of the old one and tends to hit the same wall.
Use the time to fix the details instead: the name exactly as it appears on your signage, the right primary category, an eligible address (hidden if you serve customers at their location) and a website that shows the same name, phone and area.
How do you reach the Verification Status tool and “Contact us”?
- Open Google’s Verification Status tool from the Business Profile Help Center, signed in to the account that owns the profile.
- Answer its questions about the profile and your verification attempts, all the way to the end.
- Use the Contact us link it shows at the end to open the verification support form.
- In the form, say that no verification methods are offered and ask for a video call.
Have this ready before you start: your Business Profile ID, the exact name and address as they appear on the profile, the methods you tried and the dates.
Google does not publish a reply time for this form. Keep one case open and reply in the same thread rather than filing again.

What is live video verification and what must be on camera?
Owners describe two kinds of video verification: a recorded video you upload, and a live video call with a Google representative, which verification support can arrange. Google reviews a recorded video after upload and publishes no fixed review time. A live call is not always offered.
Google’s video verification guidance asks for three things:
| What Google wants to see | Examples |
|---|---|
| Location | Street signs, the building number, nearby landmarks, the outside of your premises |
| Existence | Tools, equipment, workspace, products, a branded vehicle or uniform |
| Management | Unlocking the door or the van, performing the service, a permit or invoice with the business name |
- Record one continuous take: walk from the street to the inside without cuts.
- Keep the business name visible on something real: signage, a vehicle or a document.
- Only show things your business actually uses. Borrowed props are hard to explain.
Can you verify without a storefront (service-area business)?
Yes. Google’s guidance for businesses without a storefront asks you to show street signs near where you are based, a branded vehicle or equipment, your workspace and documents with the business name.
- Keep the address hidden on the profile and list service areas instead. See service-area business setup.
- Do not enter a virtual office or a P.O. box. If that is how the profile got here, see the virtual office suspension fix.
- Working from home: film the street sign from your property, then walk to the equipment and the vehicle.
Brands verifying many locations of the same business have a separate route; see bulk verification for 10+ locations.
What if the profile is unverified and suspended?
Deal with the suspension first. Appeal in the Business Profile appeals tool and only re-verify once Google has decided. Our suspension recovery page covers the appeal.
A failed re-verification after a reinstatement is one of the ways owners end up on this screen, so prepare the video before Google asks for it.
Do not file the verification contact form and an appeal at the same time for the same profile.

“No more ways to verify”: common questions
What does “no more ways to verify” mean on Google Business Profile?
It means Google has removed every self-serve verification option for that profile, typically after an attempt failed or was rejected. Google has no Help Center article with that exact phrase; the route owners use is the Verification Status tool, which ends in a Contact us link to verification support.
How do I request live video verification?
Open Google’s Verification Status tool from the Business Profile Help Center, answer its questions about your profile, and use the Contact us link it shows at the end. In the form, explain that no verification methods are offered and ask for a video call. Include your Business Profile ID and the exact profile name and address.
What should the verification video show?
Google asks for three things: your location (street signs, building number or landmarks near the address), that the business exists (tools, equipment, workspace, branded vehicle, products) and that you manage it (unlocking the premises, performing the service, or a permit or invoice with the business name). Record one continuous take and only show things your business really uses.
Can I just create a new profile instead?
We advise against it. A second profile for the same business is a duplicate, which Google can suspend, and the new one usually hits the same verification wall. Fix the details on the existing profile and go through verification support.
How long does it take to hear back from verification support?
Google does not publish a response time for the verification contact form. Owners in the Help Community report anything from a couple of days to over a week. Keep one case open and reply in the same thread rather than filing again.
